The second project result will be the development of a “Manual for the training of audio editing methodologies and technologies in prison”.
This output will be achieved through a series of activities which aim at:
- Comprehending the educational opportunities in prison systems and alternative measures, and the conditions for the feasibility of music workshops.
- Adapting prison procedures and structures to the needs of the project, defining agreements and shared operational procedures with the administrations.
- Identifying the best technical options for the feasibility of the workshops in the context of detention.
- Transferring the necessary skills for the implementation of the music production workshops to both educators and young people.
This Result is central in contributing to the achievement of the general objectives of M4F because it allows to translate all the experiences and knowledge acquired and selected on a theorical level, into training trials and, in the end, into a training manual. The latter allow to evaluate the most functional conditions to establish the new workshops of music production in the prison environment.
